Written by the machine

Depth comes from the draw-wire encoder, position from GNSS, and timing from the hydraulic state machine. The operator confirms the record; he cannot author it.

Sealed on the truck

Each record is hashed before it leaves the cab, then chained to the one before it. Edit anything afterwards and the seal fails visibly.

Works with no signal

Records buffer on the truck and reconcile when the network returns. A pole line in the mountains is the normal case, not the exception.
